Sally recently performed all the Beethoven Cello Sonatas with pianist Ian Buckle in the Leeds International Concert Series and gave the british premiere of In manus tuas for solo cello by Caroline Shaw at the London Spitalfields festival.

In summer 2018, Sally played in chamber music festivals in Germany, Scotland and England and performed recitals in Nuremberg and Brooklyn, New York. 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Fitzwilliam Quartet, who are celebrating by re-recording their benchmark Shostakovich Quartet cycle and the late Schubert quartets.

Nic is also the founder and violist of the internationally acclaimed Smith Quartet renowned for their performance of new music and prize winners of the Prudential Award for the Arts. Now into their third decade, they have collaborated with many of the worlds leading musicians including John Adams, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, David Tannenbaum, Andy Sheppard, Django Bates the rock group Pulp and dance companies Siobhan Davies and Shobana Jeyasingh. They regularly perform in many of the worlds most prestigious festivals and leading concert halls. The Smith Quartet record for Signum Classics their first three albums receiving worldwide acclaim. As a violist and a conductor, he has worked with many of London’s leading orchestras including London Mozart Players, English Chamber Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, English Sinfonia, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. The more observant viewer may also have seen Nic playing the part of a ghost in Anthony Minghella’s film Truly, Madly, Deeply.

He has been awarded the Gerald Moore Prize for accompanists and the Paul Hamburger Prize for Accompaniment in association with a performance of Die schöne Müllerin, directed by Graham Johnson. He has also won the Accompanist’s Prize at the Bampton Young Singers Competition. He has participated in many international competitions including Kathleen Ferrier Awards, Wigmore Hall/International Opera Competition, and the Das Lied International Competition.

Dylan has been an Oxford Lieder Young Artist (with contralto Jess Dandy) and has performed at the festival in subsequent years. He is an alumnus of the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Baden bei Wien, Austria, where he performed in masterclasses for Julius Drake, Rudolf Jansen, Helmut Deutsch, and Elly Ameling. Dylan is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and studied there with Christoph Pregardien, Julius Drake, and Richard Stokes. He is a laureate of the Académie Royaumont in association with the Musée d’Orsay, Paris.

Together with mezzo Ema Nikolovska, Dylan gave his debut recital at Wigmore Hall in May 2019. He has performed in recital at other venues in London such as the Barbican, Milton Court Concert Hall, St. Martins-in-the-Fields, Cadogan Hall, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Dylan can be heard frequently on BBC Radio 3, whether it is for a Proms Extra concert, a Total Immersion performance, or live on InTune.

Dylan has attended SongFest on the Martin Katz Fellowship and the Aspen Music Festival as a student of Ann Schein. He was a participant in The Song Continues masterclass series at Carnegie Hall with Marilyn Horne, Jessye Norman, and Dalton Baldwin, and was subsequently invited to be a pianist for their residency in Paris.

Dylan has also played in masterclasses with Renee Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, Dame Felicity Lott, and with Roger Vignoles, Brigitte Fassbaender, and Christian Gerhaher at Wigmore Hall.

Dylan is the founder of re-sung, a London based song recital series that focuses on the connection between text and music, with special interest on creating new interpretations of masterworks and championing contemporary songs.

Dylan was recently appointed to the Vocal Coach faculty at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. He has also recently recorded the complete songs of Samuel Barber for Resonus label.

He is regularly invited, as chamber musician and soloist, to appear at international festivals which have included Edinburgh, Johannesburg, Nordland, Hong Kong and Bermuda.

Despite reading Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Magdalen College, Oxford, Anthony gradually became more absorbed with playing the clarinet. The National Federation of Music Societies’ “Young Artist” award provided a springboard for his recital career, and he made his Wigmore Hall debut in 1994. Concerto appearances at the Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Cadogan Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall followed.

Giacomo is a British-Italian Dance Artist who lives and works in London.

He trained in classical ballet at Arabesque Dance Center (Italy), where he also started to approach voice work, dance theatre and choreography. After completing his Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, he was selected to perform with EDge Dance Company for their 2016/2017 season, and graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a Masters Degree in 2018.

Giacomo specialises in Floorwork and Contemporary Dance techniques and he currently teaches at Trinity Laban on several programmes. He has also been invited as a guest teacher on the Centre of Advanced Training at Trinity Laban, as well as other HE institutions across the UK and internationally.

In recognition to his professional expertise and experience of teaching in Higher Education, Giacomo was awarded the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2024.

Alongside his own choreographic research, that led him to create and perform site-specific and stage works for venues across the UK and Europe, Giacomo has worked with several choreographers including Amina Khayyam, Eliot Smith, Dora Frankel, Mathieu Geffré, Shobana Jeyasingh and Dam Van Huyn, performing in works for stage and camera.

Anna has been a professor of flute for 20 years at the Junior RAM and has taught at the Purcell School for nearly as long. Teaching is the focus of her interest and her pupils have enjoyed notable success. They have been an almost continuous presence in the NYO since 1993, including three as principal flute. Emma Halnan in 2010 was the second of her students to be a Concerto Finalist in the BBC Young Musician competition.

Lauren Potter (FHEA) is an independent dance artist/teacher (with a strong interest in the practice of performance).

Originally trained at The Place, she performed with London Contemporary Dance Theatre for many years, was a founder member of Siobhan Davies Dance, and then worked with a range of companies and choreographers such as DV8, Rosemary Butcher and Second Stride.

She recently taught and led on the Locating Practice Unit of the PG Expanded Dance Practice at London Contemporary Dance School and had previously fulfilled the role of Artistic Director for ‘Edge’ – The Postgraduate Performance Company at LCDS.

She has also recently been involved in the Aerowaves touring performance of ‘Because I Can’- a solo by Eva Recacha and a film work ‘Sentence’ by Rosemary Lee and Hugo Glendinning, currently being shown as part of Digital Dance Umbrella 2024.

Beginning her training with The National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Lucy went on to graduate from The University of Southampton with a BA Hons in Music in 2007. She then spent three years as a member of the international a cappella group, The Swingle Singers. With the group, she travelled the world singing in famous concert venues including the iconic Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

Whilst providing backing vocals for Florence & The Machine on their 2015/16 World Tour, Lucy appeared on prime time TV shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, The Graham Norton Show, Later…with Jools Holland and The Ellen Show. Lucy has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Hollywood Bowl and the steps of The Sydney Opera House. With the band, she has also headlined numerous iconic music festivals such as the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and Coachella.

Lucy regularly records for studio sessions at the world famous Abbey Road and AIR studios and can be heard on numerous Hollywood movie soundtracks, including Wonder Woman 1984, Avengers: Endgame, Aladdin, Dumbo, Beauty And The Beast, and The Hobbit.

As a vocal coach, Lucy has been a part of the team for prime time ITV show ‘The Voice UK’ for a number of years, and has most recently coached on the BBC hit show Little Mix: The Search.

Valerie is an internationally renowned author, teacher and lecturer. Current books include, Rudolf Laban: An Extraordinary Life (winner of the Dance Perspectives book of the year 1999), Looking at Dances: A Choreological Perspective on Choreography and Dance and The Performative: a Choreological Perspective written with Ana Sanchez-Colberg (2002).

Sarah has had an international singing career as a mezzo soprano and continues to perform, going to Copenhagen in the summer, for example, to perform La Frugola in Il Tabarro  by Puccini.

Sarah is one of the mentors in the upcoming Sky Arts series- ‘Anyone can Sing.’

She is also a voice coach on the Comic Relief team.

Having partly trained in Florence, Sarah is particularly interested in working with  the Bel Canto style of singing, and looking at healthy ways for young singers to train.

Since arriving in England in 1997, Omar has maintained an international profile, playing all over Europe, the USA and Africa, playing with such musicians as Tito Puente, Kirsty MacColl, Jools Holland and Courtney Pine. Omar has appeared on the BBC and several ITV channels, various radio shows as well as at venues the length and breadth of Britain: from Aberdeen to the Isle of Wight, Newcastle to the Eden Project, Belfast to Cork including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, The Jazz Cafe, Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Royal Festival Hall.

Omar teaches jazz violin at Leeds College of Music, Cuban music at various places including LCM, and Trinity College of Music, London. He continues to teach in Havana, and maintains a close relationship with the Cuba Solidarity Campaign.

An experienced facilitator, Kirsty works in a variety of settings including primary, secondary, SEN schools and community centres. She is particularly interested in how movement can be used to create, communicate and collaborate in the spirit of collective joy.

She regularly leads projects for Rambert, the RAD, Trinity Laban and Sadler’s Wells. She has also worked for Hackney Children’s Theatre, SLiDE and run workshops at the V&A, F.A.T Studio and London College of Communication.

Initially studying English Literature and Philosophy at Glasgow University and then completing her PGCE she went on to receive a scholarship to study Community Dance at Laban.

Verity is also an experienced session and concert singer and has sung backing vocals for Dionne Warwick and Josh Groban, performed in three Proms and a national tour with the John Wilson Orchestra, and was a featured vocalist in a collaboration with the English National Ballet at the Royal Albert Hall entitled Strictly Gershwin.
