Trinity Laban alumni cast in West End's Cabaret

Two Trinity Laban graduates are stepping into the spotlight in the West End this autumn. Olivia-Rose Deer (BA Musical Theatre, 2024) and Jack William Parry (BA Contemporary Dance, 2018) have been cast in the internationally acclaimed, Olivier Award-winning production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.

From 22 September 2025, Oliva-Rose will be performing the role of Helga, and Jack will be performing as part of the Prologue Company, having joined in 2023. They will join a stellar new company led by Broadway favourites Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney, bringing their talents to one of the most celebrated musicals of all time.

The show, which first opened in the West End in late 2021, is directed by Rebecca Frecknall, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt and choreography by Julia Cheng. Musical supervision is by Jennifer Whyte and musical direction is by Ben van Tienen with lighting design by Isabella Byrd, sound design by Nick Lidster, wigs and hair design by Sam Cox and make-up design by Guy Common. The casting director is Stuart Burt and the original associate director and prologue director is Jordan Fein. The prologue composer and musical director is Angus MacRae.
